Do you replace our control system vendor?
No. We advise on performance and strategy. Your vendor or integrator keeps the system, the licenses, and the code base.
Will you edit PLC or DCS code?
Only if the proposal says so, and only alongside your system owner. The usual pattern is that we specify the change and your team implements it.
Do you design or certify safety instrumented systems?
No. We do not calculate SIL and we do not take the safety authority role. We will flag when a regulatory loop is being used as a safety function and point you back to your safety process.
Can you guarantee a percentage improvement?
No. We can baseline a variable and show the response after a change. A guaranteed percentage, without that measurement and without control of the process, would be a guess. We do not sell guesses.
What data do you need?
For a discovery note: a loop list, a few weeks of trends for the variables that matter, mode and output if you have them, and a short note on what operators complain about. We will send a precise list after the scoping call so you are not exporting the whole historian.
Is the work remote?
The first review often is. Tuning and alarm workshops are better with the people who run the unit, on a call or on site. Travel is agreed in the proposal.
Where do you work?
The practice is based in Chișinău, Republica Moldova. Engagements can be remote across Europe, with visits when the scope needs them. We do not keep a second office.
How long does tuning take?
A single difficult loop can be a day of preparation and a planned test. A unit project is usually several weeks because access, permits, and verification take longer than the calculation.
Who owns the deliverables?
You do, for use inside the organization named in the proposal. We keep a copy for our record of the engagement. We do not reuse your trends or recipes in other work.
How is confidential data handled?
Files are used for the engagement only, shared with the people named in the proposal, and not published. Enquiry details sent through this website are described in the Privacy Policy.
What industries do you take?
Food and beverage, water and wastewater, energy and utilities, specialty and batch chemicals, and continuous materials plants. If the process has flows, inventories, and a control system, we can usually say after one call whether the fit is real. See Sectors.
What does the first invoice cover?
Whatever the accepted proposal states. A discovery note is one fixed fee. A project names milestones. We do not start paid work from a website message alone.
